It’s my house!
You may have seen one of my other crafts…It’s my room! Well this is the grown up version of that craft. It’s the family plaque/sign. For these I made the family as my corner image. You could do something different, like a solid color house or something similar to the style in the kids version of this craft, if you feel painting the face/body would be too difficult.
This year two of my closest friends and I decided we’d make each other gifts for Christmas, so since my kids door signs were so popular on pinterest, I thought, why not take a shot at an adult version. OK well that isn’t really how it went down…I actually tried to make a craft I had found on pinterest first, but I failed miserably, so I used those same circle pieces and thought up a new craft, which lead me to an adult version of the kids sign. 🙂

Below are the step by step photos of the project. It’s pretty easy. I found my stuff at Michaels, but they would have it at any craft store or online as well. If you have any questions, feel free to comment/email and I’ll try my best to help. Happy Crafting!
What size wooden letters did you use for this project?
The large letter is 12″ and the small ones are an inch and a half. I got them at Joann’s. They also have them at Michaels.
