Kid Sized Chores
So I have a little one who is 2.5 years old and I figured it was time to get him introduced to chores; that IS why I had him. I wanted to make him a kid friendly chore chart to make his daily chores more fun. I originally thought I’d start from scratch, since I am a graphic designer and all, but decided why waste the time when certainly someone has already created one out there. So after a little searching, I found my favorite design and downloaded the template (my inspiration: Over the Big Moon – they offer many great printables.) I took the .psd template provided, tweaked it to fit to one page and customized the chores (ours says Feed Marley, but I made it general for this version).
I print one for each week and then when he completes the job, we add a sticker to his chart. He loves to get stickers. Another option would be to laminate it and use dry erase markers to X it off when complete. This would save on ink and paper. I did this with my “Adult Sized Chores” charts, but my little guy loves the stickers.
I’ve made a PDF of one in case those chores fit your needs. I have the Photoshop file as well if you’d like me to email it to you, please just let me know.
